# Hubsoft integration with Ailos

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with Ailos for bank slips (boletos) and automatic debit. The bank slip is sent to the bank via CNAB file or API, with the option to include PIX in the same document, and the payment is returned to settle the invoice.

Ailos is a credit union system. With Hubsoft, the ISP registers bank slips (boletos) via CNAB or the Ailos API, activates bank slips with PIX, and generates automatic debit.

## About Ailos

Ailos is a credit union system. Banco Ailos operates through affiliated cooperatives, which open accounts and agreements for their members. For an ISP associated with an Ailos cooperative, the same account is used to issue bank slips and set up automatic debit for subscribers who also have an Ailos account.

## What the integration does

* **Bank slip via CNAB file:** Hubsoft generates the remittance file to register bank slips and processes the return file with the day’s payments.
* **Bank slip via API:** starting with Hubsoft version 1.121, the bank slip can be registered through the Ailos API, without a remittance file. Registration occurs within 5 minutes after issuance. For large billing volumes, Hubsoft sends files in batches, and the timeframe may be longer.
* **Hybrid bank slip:** with the API enabled, Ailos generates the PIX QR Code when the bank slip is registered. The subscriber pays using the barcode or PIX.
* **Automatic debit:** remittance and return files in FEBRABAN format, for subscribers with an Ailos account.
* **Billing delivery:** the bank slip is sent through Hubsoft’s billing routines by email, SMS, and messaging apps, via notifications in the Customer App, and by phone call.

## What you need

* An Ailos account with a billing agreement. The branch, account, portfolio, portfolio variation, and portfolio type are provided by the account manager.
* For the API: credentials for the Ailos API Portal.
* For the hybrid bank slip: the option enabled for the account, confirmed with the account manager.
* For automatic debit: a direct debit agreement with Ailos.
* Hubsoft Financial Module, included in the license.

## How to activate it

1. Ask your Ailos account manager for the billing agreement details.
2. In Hubsoft, go to Settings > Finance > Billing Method, click Add, and select bank 085 - Coop Central Ailos.
3. On the Settings tab, enter the agreement details, interest, fees, and bank slip instructions.
4. Certify the portfolio: generate three test bank slips, send the remittance file, pay the bank slips, and process the return file on the next business day.
5. To register via the API, edit the billing method, enable the API on the API tab, and enter the credentials on the Parameters tab. Enter the number of days before the due date for transmission if you do not want to register all pending bank slips at once.
6. For the hybrid bank slip, add the parameter specified in the wiki and configure payment notifications.

The step-by-step guide with screenshots is available in the Hubsoft wiki: [Ailos bank slip](https://wiki.hubsoft.com.br/pt-br/modulos/configuracao/financeiro/forma%5Fcobranca/boleto/ailos) and [Ailos automatic debit](https://wiki.hubsoft.com.br/pt-br/modulos/configuracao/financeiro/forma%5Fcobranca/debito/ailos).

## Limitations

* The hybrid bank slip’s QR Code only appears on bank slips registered after activation. Earlier bank slips do not include PIX.
* Automatic debit only debits accounts at Ailos itself. Subscribers with other banks need another billing method.
* Automatic debit works only through remittance and return files, without an API, and the remittance file must be sent at least 5 days before the due date.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need to send a remittance file if I use the Ailos API?

Not for registration. With the API enabled, Hubsoft transmits the bank slip, and it is registered with the bank within 5 minutes.

### Does Ailos automatic debit debit an account at another bank?

No. A bank can only debit accounts held with that bank. For subscribers with another bank, use the bank slip.

### The subscriber says the bank slip is not registered. What should I check?

If the bank slip was registered via remittance, check whether the file was sent to and processed by Ailos. Without registration, the barcode will not accept payment.

### Can I edit the billing method I already use to certify the API?

The Hubsoft wiki recommends creating a new billing method for each certification, without editing the one already in use.
