Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with BSG to send billing SMS and notices to subscribers. SMS messages are triggered by Hubsoft’s billing method rules and scheduled sends to customer groups.

## About BSG

BSG is a communications platform as a service (CPaaS) with global operations. It automates SMS, voice, email, WhatsApp, and Viber through a single API, with two-factor authentication, number validation, and AI-powered voice and chat assistants. The company was founded as BSG HK to bring digital marketing and telecommunications together.

## What the integration does

BSG appears in Hubsoft’s list of SMS gateways in production, as BSG HK and as BSG. With it, Hubsoft:

* Sends billing SMS based on billing method rules: after the invoice is generated, before the due date, after the due date, or after payment.
* Allows the invoice to be sent manually by SMS from the customer’s financial account.
* Schedules personalized SMS messages for a customer group filtered in the Customer Services report.
* Uses SMS layouts for other notices, such as customer service and work orders.

## What you need

* A BSG account.
* The platform URL, login, and password, which the provider gives to the Hubsoft team when signing up.

## How to activate

1. Sign up for BSG and send the URL, login, and password to the Hubsoft team.
2. With the integration registered, go to Configuration > Finance > Billing Method and, on the SMS tab, add the rules with the integration, the days for sending, and the message.
3. Go to Configuration > General > Routines and add the Send SMS routine.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I choose how many days before the due date the SMS is sent?

Yes. In the "Send before due date" rule, the sending days determine how many days before the date the SMS is sent.

### Does a customer with a canceled service receive billing SMS?

By default, no. The billing method lets you choose which service statuses receive the messages.
