# Hubsoft integration with CDNTV

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with CDNTV to enable live TV and VOD in packages. Anyone with the package in Hubsoft signs in to CDNTV using the login for their own plan, and the platform verifies access in Hubsoft.

## About CDNTV

CDNTV is TechnoBox’s live TV and VOD streaming platform. TechnoBox is a technology company serving internet service providers (ISPs). The solution is entirely software-based and includes a digital TV app branded with the provider’s name, channels, and an on-demand catalog of movies, series, and cartoons. The same company also offers monitoring camera management software.

## What the integration does

The CDNTV integration works differently from others: Hubsoft does not send data to the platform. CDNTV performs the lookup.

* When you set up the integration, Hubsoft generates a callback URL for CDNTV.
* When the subscriber signs in to the app, CDNTV calls this URL, and Hubsoft checks whether the customer exists and has a CDNTV package linked to them.
* Access is granted only to customers who have the package on their service.
* The provider can define a default product that is enabled for every registered customer, even without a package linked manually.
* By default, the subscriber’s username and password are the plan’s authentication login. The provider can change the field used as the username in the integration or in each customer’s package.

Packages can be sold separately, offered as a benefit, or included in bundles with the internet plan.

## What you need

* A contract with TechnoBox for CDNTV.
* A token created with the Hubsoft team, using only letters and numbers. It must not be changed afterward.
* A test customer with the package linked, to validate the integration with the platform.

## How to activate

1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuração > Integrações > Plataformas de Conteúdo, click Adicionar, and select TechnoBox.
2. Enter the token and, if desired, the default product and the field used as the username.
3. Under Ações > Produtos, add the products by name.
4. Under Configuração > Geral > Pacotes, create the package and, on the Integração tab, select TechnoBox and the product.
5. Link the package to a test customer.
6. Send CDNTV the callback URL generated by Hubsoft and the test customer’s details: CPF or CNPJ, authentication login, service, and package name.

## Limitations

* Because Hubsoft does not send data, the package’s transmission data fields remain empty. This is expected for this integration.
* The field CDNTV uses to identify the subscriber must be the same one configured in the username parameter. If the platform sends the CPF and Hubsoft expects the email address, the customer is not found.

## Frequently asked questions

### The subscriber received “user not found” when signing in to CDNTV. What should I check?

First, check whether the field configured as the username in Hubsoft is the same one CDNTV sends. Then check that the plan’s authentication login or the email address in the customer record does not have trailing spaces. Both cases have caused this error.

### Why is no transmission data shown in the customer’s package?

Because Hubsoft does not transmit anything in this integration. CDNTV queries Hubsoft when the subscriber signs in.

### Can I enable a basic package for all customers?

Yes. Configure the default product in the integration. It applies to every registered customer, even without a TechnoBox package linked to the service.
