# Hubsoft integration with EiTV

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with EiTV to sell TV and streaming channels in packages and bundles. The package linked to the service activates the subscriber on EiTV, while nonpayment suspends access.

## About EiTV

EiTV is a technology company for digital TV and streaming. It develops software, hardware, and cloud solutions for broadcasters, operators, internet service providers (ISPs), and the hospitality industry, focusing on the new broadcast TV standard (TV 3.0) and OTT platforms under the customer's brand. For providers, it offers TV and streaming channels to resell alongside internet service.

## What the integration does

The integration uses the EiTV API. With it, Hubsoft provides:

* Subscriber activation on EiTV when a package is linked to an enabled service or when the service is enabled.
* Subscription removal when the package is removed from the service.
* Suspension and reactivation when the customer becomes delinquent or resumes payment, with the **Enable/Suspend Subscriptions** option enabled.
* Product synchronization: Hubsoft retrieves from EiTV the list of products the provider can sell.
* Subscriber password transmission if the customer password parameter is configured. The email and password can be changed in each customer's package.
* Trial period: the package can include trial days in the plan. On the end date, Hubsoft removes the package from the customer and the subscription from the platform.

Packages can be sold separately, for an additional charge, or included in bundles with the internet plan.

## What you need

* A contract with EiTV. The content agreement is negotiated directly by the provider.
* The API access subdomain, username, and password, provided by EiTV support.
* EiTV authorization before testing the integration.

## How to activate

1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuration > Integrations > Content Platforms and click Add.
2. Select EiTV and enter the subdomain, username, and password.
3. If desired, enable the Single Package and Enable/Suspend Subscriptions options, then save.
4. After EiTV authorization, go to Actions > Test / Sync.
5. Under Products, click Sync to import the list from EiTV.
6. Go to Configuration > General > Packages, create the package with its price and tax composition, then, under the Integration tab, select EiTV and the product.
7. Link the package to the customer's service (three dots > Packages) or to the plan under Configuration > General > Services/Plans.

## Limitations

* The catalog depends on your contract with EiTV. To find out which services are available, contact EiTV.
* With the Single Package option enabled, the customer can subscribe to one package at a time.
* The package's tax composition must be validated with the provider's accounting team.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I create an internet bundle with EiTV TV?

Edit the plan under Configuration > General > Services/Plans and, on the Packages tab, add the EiTV package. Mark it as required if it should be included for every customer on that plan.

### Can I offer a few free days before charging?

Yes. In the plan, enable the package's trial period and set the number of days. On the end date, Hubsoft removes the package from the customer and sends the removal request to EiTV.

### The package does not appear when I try to link it to the customer. What could be the reason?

The customer's plan may have the Lock Packages option enabled. When it is enabled, only packages linked to that plan appear.
