# Hubsoft integration with SatTV

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with SatTV to sell live TV, streaming, and SVOD in packages and bundles. The package activates the subscriber on SatTV, and delinquency suspends access.

## About SatTV

SatTV is a nationwide pay TV company focused on internet service providers (ISPs). It provides live TV channels, streaming, and on-demand content (SVOD), including movies, series, sports, and children’s programming. The company also offers providers cloud monitoring, home protection, and 4G and 5G mobile connectivity.

## What the integration does

The integration uses the SatTV API. With it, Hubsoft handles:

* Subscriber registration with SatTV when the package is linked to the customer’s service.
* Removal when the package is removed from the service.
* Suspension and reactivation when the customer becomes delinquent or resumes payment, with the option **Enable/Suspend Subscriptions** enabled.
* Product synchronization: Hubsoft queries the SatTV API and imports the available products.
* Unique provider identification: SatTV uses a shared database for all providers, and the prefix registered in Hubsoft is added before each identifier sent.
* Selection of the registration data used as the subscriber’s username in each customer’s package.

Packages can be sold separately, provided as a benefit, or included in bundles with the internet plan.

## What you need

* A contract with SatTV, including the activation URL it provides.
* The provider prefix: usually the provider’s name, in lowercase letters and without spaces.

## How to activate

1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuration > Integrations > Content Platforms and click Add.
2. Select SatTV and enter the prefix.
3. If desired, enable the Enable/Suspend Subscriptions option.
4. Under Actions > Products, click Sync.
5. Under Configuration > General > Packages, create the package with its price and tax composition and, on the Integration tab, select SatTV and the product.
6. Link the package to the customer’s service (three dots > Packages) or to the plan under Configuration > General > Services/Plans.

## Limitations

* The prefix must be unique for each provider because it identifies that provider’s subscribers in SatTV’s shared database.
* The package’s tax composition must be validated with the provider’s accounting department.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why does SatTV require a prefix?

Because SatTV’s database is shared by all providers. The prefix, containing the provider’s name, is added before each identifier and prevents two providers from using the same code.

### Do I need to register the products manually?

No. Under Actions > Products, the Sync button imports the available products from SatTV.

### Why doesn’t the package appear when I try to link it to the customer?

The customer’s plan may have the Lock Packages option enabled. When it is enabled, only packages linked to that plan appear.
