# Hubsoft integration with SipPulse

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with SipPulse for fixed-line telephony (STFC). The number registered in Hubsoft is created in SipPulse’s softswitch, follows the customer’s status, and the month’s usage is added to the invoice.

SipPulse develops softswitch and SBC solutions for telephone carriers. Through Hubsoft, the provider creates subscribers by profile, registers number ranges, enables automatic top-ups, and bills monthly usage.

## About SipPulse

SipPulse is a Florianópolis (SC)-based company that develops telecommunications software for carriers and contact centers. For STFC, SCM, and SMP carriers, it offers softswitch, SBC, BSS, and Anatel compliance tools, as well as virtual PBX, AI-powered IVR, and carrier-branded softphone.

## What the integration does

* **Synchronized plans and profiles:** SipPulse plans and profiles are brought into Hubsoft. One profile is set as the default when registering the subscriber, while another can be selected for a specific plan or customer.
* **Number registration by range:** the provider enters the starting and ending numbers, and Hubsoft creates every number in the range. IPs can also be linked to the number.
* **Number management:** search by number or customer, filter by linking and transmission status, and perform bulk actions to delete or unlink numbers.
* **Customer activation:** the agent selects the plan and number in the customer’s service, and Hubsoft creates the subscriber in SipPulse.
* **Suspension for nonpayment:** when the option to enable and suspend numbers is active, the number follows the customer’s status in Hubsoft.
* **Subscriber rules:** the provider defines, for everyone or by customer, whether the number can receive and make calls, the limit of simultaneous calls, collect-call blocking, softphone use, and low-balance alerts.
* **Automatic top-up:** once a day, Hubsoft checks the balance and sends the top-up needed to reach the configured amount. The top-up date follows the plan’s due date unless another date is defined.
* **Usage billing:** Hubsoft reads the month’s usage from SipPulse’s billing database, displays the cost per number, and generates invoices or entries.
* **Telephony invoice:** a parameter provides the customer number for issuing the telephony service invoice.

## What you need

* A contract with SipPulse and access details: IP, port, domain, username, and platform password.
* A user account for accessing SipPulse’s reporting database and the server’s static IP for billing. SipPulse creates this user at the provider’s request.
* To bill numbers through Hubsoft, one package linked to each number.

## How to activate

1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuration > Integrations > STFC and click Add.
2. Enter the platform and billing access details. Choose whether Hubsoft will enable and suspend numbers and whether the package is required.
3. Under Actions > Plans and Actions > Profiles, click Synchronize and select the default profile.
4. Under Actions > Numbers, register the numbers or ranges.
5. In the customer’s service, under Other Options > STFC Data, add the number.
6. To bill, open Actions > Process/Bill, select the entry type, month, and year, and load the processing.

The step-by-step guide with screenshots is on the [SipPulse page in the Hubsoft wiki](https://wiki.hubsoft.com.br/pt-br/modulos/configuracao/integracao/stfc/sippulse).

## Limitations

* Billing depends on access to SipPulse’s reporting database with a static IP.
* Hubsoft imports the amounts recorded in SipPulse. If an amount is incorrect, it must be corrected on the platform.

## Frequently asked questions

### How does automatic top-up work?

Once a day, Hubsoft checks the number’s balance and tops it up to the configured amount. If the amount is 1,000 and the balance is 700, the top-up sent is 300.

### The number registration shows a password. Do I need to fill it in?

No. SipPulse does not use this password. It is generated automatically.

### The customer’s telephony amount is incorrect. What should I do?

Hubsoft imports the amounts recorded in SipPulse. Check the usage with SipPulse and process the billing again.
