Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with Zenvia to send SMS and WhatsApp messages to subscribers, using HSM templates on WhatsApp. Billing notices and announcements are sent through Hubsoft rules via Zenvia.

## About Zenvia

Zenvia is a customer communications platform. Zenvia Customer Cloud uses artificial intelligence to engage customers and drive sales through WhatsApp and other channels, from acquisition to post-sale support, in a unified solution.

## What the integration does

* Sends SMS and WhatsApp messages through Zenvia. The channel is defined by the integration URL: one for SMS and another for WhatsApp.
* On WhatsApp, it uses HSM templates, with variables filled in by Hubsoft when the message is sent.
* Sends notifications according to the SMS rules for the billing method: after the invoice is generated, before the due date, after the due date, or after payment.
* Enables messages to be sent to a customer group filtered in the Customer Services report, with template selection when the integration uses HSM.

## What you need

* A Zenvia account with the SMS or WhatsApp channel active.
* Zenvia authentication token and the identifier for the sending channel.
* For WhatsApp, HSM templates approved by Zenvia and the Template ID for each one.

## How to activate

1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuration > Integrations > SMS/Messengers and click Add.
2. Select the Zenvia gateway and enter the token, channel URL (SMS or WhatsApp), number, and channel identifier.
3. For WhatsApp, enable the HSM switch and save.
4. Under Actions > HSM Template > Add, enter the Zenvia Template ID as the template code, a description, and the variables using the same names as in Zenvia.
5. Configure the rules in the SMS tab of the billing method and the Send SMS routine under Configuration > General > Routines.

## Limitations

* HSM templates cannot include attachments. The invoice PDF is not sent through Zenvia on WhatsApp.
* An integration with HSM enabled cannot be used for one-off messages or the Subscriber Portal.

### Can I use Zenvia for SMS and WhatsApp?

Yes. The integration sends SMS and WhatsApp messages, and the channel is defined by the URL entered in the parameters: one for SMS and another for WhatsApp.

### Can I send a PDF through Zenvia?

Not with HSM templates, which are structured messages and do not accept attachments.

### Can I customize the messages?

Yes. Template variables are replaced with customer data, and each billing method rule can use a different template.
