Fleet Management for Internet Service Providers: how HubFrota organizes your field team
For an internet service provider (ISP), service doesn’t happen only on servers or fiber-optic cables. Operations come to life on the road, inside the vehicles that take your technicians to customers’ homes. If your fleet is disorganized, your productivity comes to a standstill.
Managing vehicles requires structure. When you centralize data and automate reservations, you eliminate bottlenecks that delay support, installations, and field team routines.
The bottleneck of parallel controls
Many managers still rely on external spreadsheets or messaging groups to monitor vehicles. This fragmented model leads to errors. Inconsistent information about a vehicle’s availability causes delays in work orders and frustrates the field team.
Hubsoft developed the Fleet Management module to resolve this dispersion. The goal is to integrate physical assets with your ERP’s logical workflow. This way, you can view operations end to end without leaving the platform you already use for billing and provisioning.
Organization in two essential stages
At this initial stage, the module focuses on two pillars that support the ISP’s logistics:
Structured Registration: You centralize each vehicle’s data in a single inventory. This replaces scattered notes with a reliable database, making it easier to check license plates, models, and the status of each unit.
Vehicle Reservations: The system organizes asset usage by operational teams. Your team schedules the vehicle needed for the shift, avoiding scheduling conflicts and ensuring the right resource is available for the technician when they leave.

Fleet Management for ISPs
Why centralize your fleet in your ERP?
Centralizing information reduces process redundancy. When you eliminate manual controls, management becomes more agile, and you gain a clear view of which assets make up your fleet and how they move throughout the day.
Knowing exactly where each resource is allocated changes the kind of decisions you can make. Network expansion, preventive maintenance, and moving vehicles between teams—all of this becomes planning, not improvisation. Hubsoft technology organizes your assets; you focus on your ISP’s growth strategy.
That’s what HubFrota delivers in practice: fleet, fueling, and maintenance brought together in one dashboard, without relying on manual checks or asking the team.
Dashboard, Fueling, and Maintenance:
With version 1.120, HubFrota gained three new tabs:
- Dashboard: a consolidated view of the fleet, with vehicle status and usage indicators directly in the HubFrota panel.
- Fueling: records and tracks fueling for each vehicle, allowing you to monitor fuel consumption and cost by unit.
- Maintenance: records and tracks completed maintenance, helping prevent vehicles from being sidelined due to overdue servicing.
These three features are now available alongside Structured Registration and Vehicle Reservations, covering both the fleet’s initial organization and the ongoing monitoring of costs and maintenance. Technical details for each tab are available in the version 1.120 release notes and in the complete HubFrota documentation.
The future of your logistics
The launch of this module marks the beginning of continuous evolution within the Hubsoft ecosystem. Vehicle registration and reservations are already available, allowing ISPs to begin structuring their fleet management in a more organized way and integrating it with the ERP.
In addition, new improvements are already in development. The module’s next stage will include features for managing fueling and maintenance, further expanding visibility into the operation’s vehicle costs, routines, and upkeep.
Structuring registrations and reservations is the first step toward professionalizing field logistics. With upcoming developments, fleet management will become even more complete within the Hubsoft platform.
The Fleet Management module is available as an additional platform feature.
