Hubsoft integration with Caixa

Hubsoft, the ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with Caixa for bank slips (boletos), hybrid bank slips, and automatic debit. The bank slip is registered through Caixa’s WebService or via CNAB, and the payment is returned to settle the invoice.

Caixa Econômica Federal serves customers nationwide. In Hubsoft, the ISP registers bank slips through Caixa’s API, enables bank slips with PIX QR Codes, and sets up automatic debit for Caixa account holders.

About Caixa

Caixa Econômica Federal is a financial institution structured as a public company, headquartered in Brasília and present throughout the country. It plays a central role in public policies, housing, and social programs. For ISPs, it is a collection bank that reaches virtually every municipality.

What the integration does

API registration: with the WebService enabled, Hubsoft transmits the bank slip without a remittance file. Registration takes up to 5 minutes. For large billing runs, transmission occurs in batches and may take longer.
CNAB 240 and 400: remittance and return files for registration and settlement.
Hybrid bank slip: in API v2, each registered bank slip receives a PIX QR Code. The subscriber pays using the barcode or PIX.
Payment recognition: for hybrid bank slips, Caixa sends a webhook when the bank slip or PIX payment is made, and the payment routine queries the TotalBank platform for confirmation.
Automatic debit: remittance and return in version 4, for subscribers with Caixa accounts.

What you need

A Caixa account with a collection agreement. The manager provides the agreement, branch, account, and portfolio details.
For the API: WebService mode enabled in the collection portfolio, under the same agreement.
For hybrid bank slips: version v2 credentials and the API key provided by Caixa, plus TotalBank access to query payments.
For automatic debit: a version 4 account debit agreement.

How to activate

In Settings > Finance > Billing Method, create a billing method with bank 104 - Caixa Econômica Federal and validate it using remittance and return files.
Ask the bank to enable WebService for the portfolio.
Edit the billing method, enable the API in the API tab, and fill in the parameters.
For hybrid bank slips, enter version v2, the credentials, TotalBank access details, and the PIX parameter under Extra Parameters.
Generate a test bank slip and check whether it was registered within 5 minutes.
For automatic debit, create another billing method with agreement type V4 and validate it with a test customer.

Limitations

Without TotalBank access details, Hubsoft cannot query payments for hybrid bank slips.
Caixa’s webhook is configured by the bank itself.
Automatic debit only debits Caixa accounts and works exclusively through remittance and return files. The remittance file must be sent at least 5 days before the due date.
