Hubsoft integration with ProvedorZAP

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with ProvedorZAP to send due-date reminders, invoices, and notifications to the subscriber’s WhatsApp. The message leaves Hubsoft in JSON format, and the system validates the text before saving.

ProvedorZAP is a WhatsApp API for internet service providers (ISPs). In Hubsoft, it sends invoices and due-date reminders via WhatsApp, with JSON messages validated on the configuration screens.

About ProvedorZAP

ProvedorZAP is a WhatsApp API built for internet service providers (ISPs). The provider connects its own number in the customer area and manages connections and API keys through a dashboard. The platform handles the ninth digit in Brazilian phone numbers and sends messages at automatic intervals and with pauses to protect the number from being blocked.

What the integration does

  • Sends notifications, due-date reminders, and invoices to the subscriber’s WhatsApp from Hubsoft.
  • Sends reminders according to the billing method’s SMS rules: after the invoice is generated, before the due date, after the due date, or after payment.
  • Uses SMS layouts for service messages, work orders, birthdays, and other types.
  • Allows customized messages to be sent through the customer menu or to a customer group filtered in the Customer Services report.
  • Validates the message JSON: in the SMS layout, billing method rules, and customized messages, Hubsoft indicates that the message must be in JSON and offers the Validate JSON option, which identifies errors and formats the text.

What you need

  • A ProvedorZAP account with WhatsApp connected.
  • ProvedorZAP’s production URL and API authentication key (x-api-key).

How to activate

  1. In Hubsoft, go to Settings > Integrations > SMS/Messenger and click Add.
  2. Choose the Provedor Zap gateway and enter the description, URL, and API key. Save.
  3. Test the integration under Actions.
  4. Create JSON messages in the SMS layouts and in the SMS tab rules for the billing method, using Validate JSON before saving.
  5. Create the Send SMS routine under Settings > General > Routines.

The step-by-step guide with the screens is on the ProvedorZAP page in the Hubsoft wiki.

Limitations

  • The message must be in JSON. If the format is incorrect, Hubsoft displays an alert, and the layout is also validated when saving.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the message need to be in JSON?

Because this gateway sends the request in JSON to ProvedorZAP. The Validate JSON option shows whether the text is correct and formats the message to make editing easier.

Can I send a message to a customer group?

Yes. Filter the customers in the Customer Services report, select the recipients, and use the customized SMS action with the ProvedorZAP integration.

A customer did not receive the reminder. What should I check?

Check whether the invoice matches the rule, whether it uses a billing method with the applicable rules, and whether the customer’s service and contact allow this type of reminder.
