Bank Slip (Boleto)

Hubsoft integration with Sofisa

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with Banco Sofisa for bank slips (boletos) through CNAB 240. The remittance registers the bank slips through Santander’s correspondent, and the return file clears paid invoices.

Banco Sofisa, based in São Paulo, serves businesses with credit and banking accounts. In Hubsoft, the ISP issues Sofisa bank slips through CNAB 240, with validation by Santander’s correspondent.

About Banco Sofisa

Banco Sofisa is a Brazilian bank headquartered in São Paulo that presents itself as having 60 years of history. It provides credit for small and midsize businesses, checking accounts, loans, and fixed-income investments. For an ISP with a Sofisa account, bank slip billing can be managed through Hubsoft.

What the integration does

  • CNAB 240 remittance: Hubsoft generates the remittance file with the bank slips, and the ISP sends it to the bank for registration.
  • CNAB 240 return: Hubsoft processes the return file and clears paid invoices.
  • Santander correspondent: Sofisa’s validation is handled by Santander’s correspondent. Therefore, the printed bank slip displays Santander’s logo.
  • Billing delivery: email, SMS and messaging apps, notification in the Customer App, and phone calls.

What you need

  • A Banco Sofisa account with a billing agreement, using the information provided by the account manager.
  • Hubsoft’s Financial Module, included in the license.

How to activate

  1. Ask the account manager for the billing agreement details.
  2. In Settings > Finance > Billing Method, create the billing method according to Sofisa’s configuration as a Santander correspondent, described in the wiki.
  3. Generate test bank slips, send the remittance, and pay the bank slips.
  4. Process the return on the next business day. Once the payment is recognized, the account is validated.

The step-by-step guide with screenshots is on the Sofisa page in the Hubsoft wiki.

Limitations

  • With Sofisa, registration and settlement are handled only through CNAB 240 files. There is no bank slip API.
  • The printed bank slip displays Santander’s logo because of the correspondent.
