Hubsoft integration with Cielo
Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with Cielo for credit card invoice payments. The subscriber pays through the Subscriber Portal or Customer App, and the invoice is settled in Hubsoft instantly.
Cielo is a multi-brand card acquirer. With Hubsoft, subscribers can pay invoices by credit card through the portal or app, with installment plans and recurring payment options.
About Cielo
Cielo is a Brazilian financial services company that operates as a multi-brand acquirer: it captures, transmits, and settles credit and debit card transactions. In addition to card machines, it offers an e-commerce solution for online payments. This is the solution that connects to Hubsoft.
What the integration does
The integration uses the Cielo e-Commerce API.
- Payment through the Subscriber Portal and Customer App: the subscriber enters their card details, the system identifies the card brand, and displays the installment options.
- Payment through the web system: the agent can also enter a card payment.
- Automatic recurring payments: with this option enabled, the invoice is charged to the subscriber’s card on the due date. You can define the time window when recurring payments are processed.
- Security rules: minimum accepted amount, minimum amount per installment, attempt limits per invoice and per CPF or CNPJ within 24 hours, and the refund period, which is 30 days if not configured.
- Settlement: the specified settlement days calculate the date when the amount enters the financial cash account.
What you need
- The Cielo E-commerce Solution under contract.
- The Merchant ID and Merchant Key, which appear in the Cielo dashboard under the API e-Commerce module after email confirmation.
- Online payment enabled in each customer’s record.
- Hubsoft’s Financial Module, included in the license.
How to activate
- Contract the e-commerce solution with Cielo and copy the Merchant ID and Merchant Key into the dashboard.
- In Hubsoft, go to Settings > Integrations > Credit Card and add Cielo with the financial cash account, maximum number of installments, recurring payments, and settlement days.
- Enter the credentials and attempt limits.
- Register the fees and interest rates for each card brand according to your contract with Cielo.
- Link the integration to the billing method and enable card payments under Settings > General > Subscriber Portal and Settings > General > Customer APP.

Limitations
- Users of recurring payments must notify Cielo. Without this notification, transactions processed overnight may be declined as suspected fraud.
- The card option only appears on invoices above the minimum amount and within the number of days after the due date defined in the Subscriber Portal and app.
Frequently asked questions
Why does card payment appear on only some invoices?
Invoices below the minimum accepted amount do not show the option. Also check whether Cielo is linked to the invoice’s billing method.
Can I limit the refund period?
Yes. An integration parameter sets the maximum number of days for a refund. Without it, the default is 30 days.
Where can I view the approved payment?
In the customer’s financial records in Hubsoft and in Cielo’s sales dashboard.
