Hubsoft integration with Geosite

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with Geosite Telecom to bring the documented fiber network into the platform and check availability. The provider links the customer to the service port in Hubsoft without remapping.

Geosite Telecom creates georeferenced inventories of fiber networks. Through Hubsoft, the provider syncs poles, CTOs, and splitters, checks port availability, and updates an individual box by code.

About Geosite

Geosite Telecom is software from Geosite Tecnologia for inventorying fiber-optic networks and managing georeferenced assets, designed for internet service providers (ISPs). The company began as Digicade, which worked with geoprocessing from 1994 to 2022, merged with Squadra Digital in 2023, and became Geosite Tecnologia in 2024.

What the integration does

The integration uses the project already created in Geosite. Hubsoft retrieves the equipment and returns only the data of the customer linked to each port to the platform.

  • Element synchronization: Hubsoft brings in poles, splice closures, CTOs and CAHs, optical terminals, stations, and splitters. The provider chooses which types to sync.
  • Partial and full synchronization: on weekdays, Hubsoft retrieves only what has changed since the last sync. On weekends, it performs a full sync, which also removes from Hubsoft anything deleted in Geosite.
  • Manual and individual synchronization: the provider syncs the project at any time or updates just one box by entering its code in Geosite.
  • Availability: when searching for available ports by optical box, Hubsoft first checks Geosite within the specified radius, registers any missing boxes, and then returns the result.
  • Service splitter: Hubsoft recognizes the service splitter by the type marked in Geosite.
  • Linking the customer to the port: done in the optical box, under the Mapping tab of the customer's service, during service or account-holder migration, and in the removal work order. The customer is registered in Geosite with a contract corresponding to their service in Hubsoft.
  • Customers already linked in Geosite: Hubsoft identifies the customer by CPF/CNPJ and contract. If it finds the customer, it links them to the port. If not, it reserves the port with a note.

What you need

  • A contract with Geosite and API access credentials (address, username, and password), provided by Geosite.
  • Service splitters marked with the Service type in Geosite.

How to activate

  1. In Hubsoft, go to Settings > Integrations > Mapping > Add and enter the API address, username, and password.
  2. Under Actions > Projects, link the integration to an existing project or create a new one.
  3. Under Actions > Elements, choose the elements to be synchronized.
  4. Use Actions > Test to check the connection.
  5. Wait for the overnight synchronization or sync the project manually.

The step-by-step guide with screenshots is on the Geosite page in the Hubsoft wiki.

Limitations

  • During partial synchronization, Hubsoft does not detect removed equipment. Removal takes place during the full weekend synchronization.
  • If an element type is removed from the selection, all items of that type are deleted from Hubsoft during the next synchronization.
  • The service splitter is required and cannot be deselected.
  • Each integration is linked to one mapping project.

Frequently asked questions

I deleted a box in Geosite, but it still appears in Hubsoft. Why?

Weekday synchronization only retrieves changes. Removal occurs during the full weekend synchronization.

Do I need to wait for synchronization to see an updated box?

No. Use individual synchronization with the box code in Geosite, and only that element will be updated.

Does the availability check use Geosite data?

Yes. Hubsoft checks Geosite within the specified radius, registers any missing boxes, and displays the available ports.
