Hubsoft integration with HotMobile

Hubsoft, the ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with HotMobile to send billing SMS and subscriber notifications. Due date reminders, overdue notices, and payment confirmations are sent based on Hubsoft rules.

What the integration does

Hotmobile is listed among the SMS gateways in production in Hubsoft. With it, Hubsoft:

Sends billing SMS based on billing method rules: after the invoice is generated, before the due date, after the due date, or after payment.
Allows the invoice to be sent manually by SMS from the customer's financial section.
Schedules personalized SMS messages for a customer group filtered in the Customer Services report.
Uses SMS templates for customer service, work order, and birthday notifications.

What you need

An account with Hotmobile.
The platform URL, username, and password, which the provider gives to the Hubsoft team when signing up.

How to activate

Sign up for Hotmobile and send the URL, username, and password to the Hubsoft team.
With the integration registered, go to Settings > Finance > Billing Method and, on the SMS tab, add the rules with the integration, the days for sending, and the message.
Go to Settings > General > Routines and add the Send SMS routine with the days and time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I copy SMS rules from one billing method to another?

Yes. When editing the billing method, the Copy option brings in the sending rules from another billing method, including SMS rules.

A customer did not receive the SMS. What should I check?

Check whether the invoice meets the rule, whether it uses the billing method with the rules, and whether the customer's service and phone number allow SMS.
