Hubsoft integration with Iugu

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with iugu for bank slips (boletos) and bank slips with Pix. The bank slip is issued on the iugu platform, and the payment notification settles the invoice in Hubsoft.

About iugu

iugu is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses, offering technology for billing, payment management, and API-based financial operations. For the ISP, it works as a billing gateway: the bank slip is issued in iugu from Hubsoft, with no remittance file.

What the integration does

Bank slip issuance: Hubsoft registers bank slips in iugu.
Bank slip with Pix: with the option enabled, each bank slip includes a Pix QR Code with the same details.
Cancellation: bank slips canceled in Hubsoft are canceled in iugu.
Automatic settlement: iugu notifies Hubsoft via webhook when the bank slip is paid, and the gateway's payment verification routine checks the payments.

What you need

An iugu account.
A production token, created in the iugu dashboard under Settings > Developer > API Integrations.
Pix payments enabled in the iugu dashboard for bank slips with Pix.
A default email for customers without an email address on file, because iugu requires an email address when registering the bank slip.
Hubsoft Financial Module, included in the license.

How to activate

In the iugu dashboard, create the production token and copy its value. It remains visible for one hour.
In Hubsoft, go to Settings > Integrations > Payment and add iugu with the token and default email.
Copy the callback URL generated by Hubsoft.
In the iugu dashboard, go to Settings > Developer > Trigger Communication, register the URL, and select the event indicated in the wiki.
Create the billing method under Settings > Finance > Billing Method, with Iugu as the bank and the registered integration.
Schedule the Verify Gateway Payment routine so no payment remains unsettled.

Limitations

The iugu integration does not change the bank slip due date on the platform.
The token can only be copied within one hour after it is created. If you lose it, generate another one.

Frequently asked questions

The bank slip with Pix did not appear. What should I check?

Check that Pix payments are enabled in the iugu dashboard and that the bank slip with Pix option is enabled in the integration.

Do I need the webhook if I have the verification routine?

Yes. The webhook settles the payment immediately after it is made, and the routine ensures that no bank slip remains unsettled if a notification fails.
