Hubsoft, the ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with Khal to send invoice SMS, automatic alerts, and manual messages to each subscriber. SMS messages are sent from Hubsoft’s billing rules through Khal’s platform.

KHAL SMS is a bulk corporate SMS company founded in 2012. With Hubsoft, the ISP sends invoice SMS, automatic alerts, and manual messages through Khal.

What the integration does

  • Sends invoice SMS based on billing method rules: after the invoice is generated, before the due date, after the due date, or after payment as confirmation.
  • Sends automatic alerts using SMS templates, such as service alerts, work order notifications, and birthday messages.
  • Allows manual messages for each customer and manual invoice sending by the customer’s finance team.
  • Schedules sends to a customer group filtered in the Customer Services report.
  • Includes testing, history, and an option to deactivate it directly on the integration screen.

What you need

  • A KHAL SMS account.
  • The credentials requested by Khal: ID, token, and the username and password for the settings panel.

Frequently asked questions

Hubsoft showed success, but the customer did not receive the SMS. Why?

Success means Hubsoft delivered the SMS to Khal. The final delivery to the customer is handled by the platform, so the case must be checked with Khal.

Can I control the sending interval?

Yes. In the billing method rules, the sending days define when each SMS is sent. There is also an interval parameter, in seconds, between messages.

Does a customer with a canceled service receive billing SMS messages?

By default, no. The billing method lets you choose the service statuses that receive sends.
