Hubsoft integration with MultTV (Middleware)

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with MultTV (Middleware) to sell TV and streaming channels in packages and bundles. Each package becomes a MultTV user, and delinquency suspends access.

MultTV (Middleware) delivers TV and streaming through the ISP’s app. In Hubsoft, products are synchronized and each package creates a platform user with a parental control PIN.

About MultTV (Middleware)

MultTV is a company designed for internet service providers (ISPs) that want to sell pay TV together with internet service. It delivers live channels, on-demand movies and series, and a customized app with the ISP’s brand. It also supports the ISP with package resales, team training, and customer retention.

What the integration does

The integration uses MultTV’s Middleware application. With it, Hubsoft handles:

Creating a MultTV user for each package linked to the customer’s service.
Removing the user when the package is removed from the service.
Suspending and reactivating service when the customer becomes delinquent or resumes payment, with the option Enable/Suspend Subscriptions enabled.
Synchronizing active products on the platform with one click.
Creating the username: the customer’s first name, an underscore, and the package code (for example, TESTE_5924). A different name can be set in the package, as long as it is unique.
Setting the password based on registration data. The default is the authentication login; it can also be the CPF or CNPJ, customer code, email, or phone number.
Parental control PIN. By default, it is the customer code and can be changed in the package.

Packages can be sold individually, provided as a benefit, or included in bundles with the internet plan.

What you need

A contract with MultTV. Content negotiations are handled directly by the ISP.
The API address and token provided by the MultTV team.

How to activate

In Hubsoft, go to Configuration > Integrations > Content Platforms and click Add.
Select MultTV (Middleware) and enter the API address and token.
If you want, choose the data used as the password and enable the Enable/Suspend Subscriptions option.
Under Actions > Products, click Sync to import active products.
Under Configuration > General > Packages, create the package with its price and tax composition. On the Integration tab, select MultTV (Middleware) and a product.
Link the package to the customer’s service (three dots > Packages) or to the plan under Configuration > General > Services/Plans.

Limitations

Each package accepts only one product because MultTV creates one user per package.
This integration is for Middleware. For DirectTv GO, MultTV has a different registration in Hubsoft: MultTV (DirectvGO).
The package’s tax composition must be validated with the ISP’s accounting team.

Frequently asked questions

By default, it is the customer’s first name followed by the package code, such as TESTE_5924. The password follows the data selected in the integration, which by default is the authentication login.

The customer wants two MultTV packages. What happens?

Each package creates its own user on the platform, with one product. The customer will have one login for each package.

What is the difference from MultTV (DirectvGO)?

MultTV (Middleware) delivers MultTV’s own channels and streaming. MultTV (DirectvGO) is used only for the DirectTv GO service and has a separate registration in Hubsoft.
