Hubsoft integration with Meu James

About Meu James

James is a WhatsApp support platform for internet service providers (ISPs). It serves multiple customers simultaneously and can use bots to triage requests, collect information for an agent, or respond automatically. It includes an AI chatbot that responds to text and audio, CRM, reports, and an app for the team.

What the integration does

• Sends WhatsApp messages through Meu James from Hubsoft.
• Sends notices based on the SMS rules for the billing method: after the invoice is generated, before the due date, after the due date, or after payment.
• Allows messages to be sent to a customer group filtered in the Customer Services report.
• Sends messages with accents and respects the configured character limit.

Meu James is also among the chatbot platforms that connect through Hubsoft's Official API, which subscribers can use to request a duplicate bill, trusted-access unlocking, and support without speaking to an agent.

What you need

• An account with Meu James.
• The integration credentials provided by Meu James: operation code, access username, and token.

How to activate

1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuration > Integrations > SMS/Messengers and click Add.
2. Choose the Other gateway, which sends via GET, and enter the description Meu James.
3. Enter the parameters in the order indicated in the wiki: the James API URL, the three credentials, the message, the number, and the accents option. Save.
4. Under Actions > Test, enter a number and a message, then send it.
5. Configure the rules on the SMS tab for the billing method and the Send SMS routine.

Limitations

• By default, Hubsoft limits messages to 160 characters. If Meu James accepts a different length, add the character limit parameter with the agreed-upon number.

Frequently asked questions

The test was successful. Has the message already been delivered?

Success means that Meu James accepted the message. From that point on, the message is sent by the James platform.

Why didn't a customer receive the billing notice?

The invoice may not match the rule, may use a different billing method, or the customer's service or contact may not allow this type of notice.
