About Overlock

Overlock is a company that distributes apps and digital content. The platform brings together family services, such as music players, English lessons for children, discount coupons, a book club, and streaming apps, including Esporte Interativo and Cartoon Network. For the internet service provider (ISP), it is a value-added service package to include in the plan.

What the integration does

The integration uses the Overlock API. With it, Hubsoft handles:

• Subscriber activation in Overlock when the package is linked to an enabled service, or when the service is enabled.
• Deactivation when the package is removed from the service.
• Package blocking due to nonpayment when the customer does not pay, with the delinquency key enabled in the integration.
• Standard initial access for all subscribers, who can later change their access credentials.
• Integration history, testing, and synchronization through the Actions menu.
• Trial: in the plan, the package can have a trial period with a deadline.

Packages can be sold separately, given as a benefit, or included in bundles with the internet plan. If the ISP wants, the same package can be added to the service more than once, with the duplicate packages option.

What you need

• A contract with Overlock.
• The token Overlock sends to the ISP.
• The product list with the codes provided by Overlock.

How to activate

1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuration > Integrations > Content Platforms and click Add.
2. Select Overlock and enter the token.
3. Enable the delinquency blocking key, if desired, and save.
4. Under Actions > Products, register each product with a name and the same code used by Overlock.
5. Under Configuration > General > Packages, create the package with its price and tax composition and, on the Integration tab, select Overlock and the product.
6. Link the package to the customer's service (three dots > Packages) or to the plan under Configuration > General > Services/Plans.

Limitations

• The product code must match the one provided by Overlock.
• The package's tax composition must be validated with the ISP's accounting team.

Frequently asked questions

How do I create an internet bundle with Overlock apps?

Edit the plan under Configuration > General > Services/Plans and, on the Packages tab, add the Overlock packages. Mark as required any package that must be included for every customer on the plan.

Can I lock a plan's packages?

Yes. With the Lock Packages option, only packages added to the plan can be linked to customers on that plan.

The package does not appear when I try to link it to the customer. Why?

The plan probably has the Lock Packages option enabled. Check the plan's Packages tab.
