Hubsoft integration with Eaí Telecom

About Eaí Telecom

Eaí Telecom is a Brazilian telecommunications company. It operates as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) and also offers fixed-line telephony, virtual PBX, and an SMS delivery platform. With Eaí's MVNO, the internet service provider (ISP) can sell mobile telephony to its own customer base.

What the integration does

For MVNO:

• Plan synchronization: Eaí's plans are brought into Hubsoft through the integration screen.
• Line activation: in the customer service, the agent chooses the plan and area code and selects the SIM Card (ICCID) from the list Hubsoft retrieves from Eaí. Eaí generates the number, and Hubsoft saves it in the record after transmission.
• Automatic top-up: the provider chooses the recurrence type. For prepaid service, the line is topped up every month on the activation date. For postpaid service, the top-up only occurs if the line has no outstanding balance. Automatic top-up can also be disabled.
• Delinquency blocking: Hubsoft checks the subscriber's invoices and blocks or unblocks the line based on payment status. Suspending the service in Hubsoft also sends the line to Eaí's blocking queue.
• Manual top-up: through the number's actions, the agent enters the top-up amount. If desired, they can select the billing option to create the subscriber's financial entry.
• Plan change: performed through the number's actions after activation.
• Number portability: in the line's own record by entering the number to be ported, or later through the number's actions. Hubsoft checks the status every hour.
• Multiple companies: if the provider has more than one company with Eaí, each one is registered as an integration identified by its CNPJ.
• MVNO report: shows line transmission errors.

For SMS, Eaí is one of Hubsoft's SMS gateways. The provider sends automatic messages, such as invoices and due-date notices, as well as manual messages to specific customers.

What you need

• A contract with Eaí Telecom and API credentials (client_id and client_secret), provided by Eaí itself.
• Hubsoft plans that will receive lines, marked with the "Serviço Permite MVNO" option.
• For SMS: the gateway address, username, and password, provided to the Hubsoft team.

How to activate

1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuração > Integrações > MVNO > Adicionar and select EAÍ Telecom.
2. Enter the client_id and client_secret. If needed, enter the company's CNPJ and the default recurrence type.
3. Synchronize plans by going to Ações > Planos > Sincronizar.
4. In Configuração > Geral > Serviços / Planos, select "Serviço Permite MVNO" for the plans that will have a mobile line.
5. In the customer's service, go to Outras Opções > Dados MVNO > Adicionar, choose the plan, area code, and ICCID, and save.

Limitations

• A change of account holder made in Hubsoft is not sent to Eaí. The provider must also make the change on Eaí's platform.
• Cancellation is not immediate: the top-up already made remains valid until the end of the month. Cancellation prevents the next automatic top-up.
• The number cannot be chosen during registration, except for portability: Eaí generates the number upon activation.

Frequently asked questions

If the customer's service is suspended due to nonpayment, is the line also suspended?

Yes. The suspended service enters Eaí's blocking queue, and unblocking follows the same process when the service is enabled.

Can I make a one-time top-up and charge the subscriber for it?

Yes. In Dados MVNO > Ações > Recarga, enter the amount and enable the billing option to create the entry in the customer's financial records.

I use Eaí only for SMS. Do I need to configure MVNO?

No. The SMS gateway and MVNO are separate integrations in Hubsoft.
