Hubsoft integration with Int6 Tech
Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with Int6 Tech to manage the subscriber's router. The agent changes the Wi-Fi password and restarts the CPE through Hubsoft, while the subscriber makes the change through the Subscriber Portal or app.
Int6 Tech, now part of Harmonic, automates and remotely manages CPEs. Through Hubsoft, the provider changes Wi-Fi settings, restarts the router, and enables configuration in the subscriber app.
About Int6 Tech
Int6 Tech develops automation solutions for internet service providers (ISPs) and telecommunications operators: automated provisioning (AutoISP), GPON network diagnostics (DiagISP), remote CPE management via ACS (RemoteISP), KPI dashboards, and alarm management. Int6 Tech was acquired by Harmonic Inc., and its products became part of Harmonic's portfolio.
What the integration does
- Management through Hubsoft: in the customer's plan CPE list, an agent with the specific permission can edit the Wi-Fi network name and password.
- Restart: the agent requests a CPE restart without leaving Hubsoft.
- Connected devices: Hubsoft displays the devices connected to the customer's router.
- Subscriber Portal: when enabled, the subscriber sees the Equipment tab, with the manageable CPEs from their plans, and changes the Wi-Fi name and password.
- Customer app: when enabled, the subscriber configures the router through the My Routers menu in the app.
What you need
- A contract with Int6 Tech. The system is proprietary and must be contracted directly with the company.
- Notify the Int6 team that you will use the Hubsoft integration. Int6 maps the provider's equipment before enabling its use.
- A user on the Int6 platform with API access permissions.
- The Int6 server URL, username, and password. The username and password are the same ones used to access the platform.
How to activate
- Notify the Int6 team and wait for the equipment mapping.
- On the Int6 platform, go to System > Users and create the user with the permissions specified in the wiki.
- In Hubsoft, go to Settings > Integrations > CPE Manager, click Add, and select the Int6 type.
- Enter the server URL, username, and password.
- To enable access for the subscriber, select "Display Equipment" and "Configure Equipment" under Settings > General > Subscriber Portal, and "Configure Routers / CPEs" under Settings > General > Customer App.

Limitations
- For now, the integration only changes Wi-Fi network parameters.
- The integration only works after Int6 maps the provider's equipment.
Frequently asked questions
Can the subscriber change the Wi-Fi password through the app?
Yes. With "Configure Routers / CPEs" enabled in the Customer App settings, they can use the My Routers menu.
Why doesn't the integration work right after setup?
Int6 must first map the provider's equipment. Notify the Int6 team that you will use the Hubsoft integration.
Does the Harmonic acquisition change anything?
Int6 Tech states that its relationship with customers remains the same. For terms and support, contact Int6.
