About Newave

neWave is an enterprise communications suite with proprietary technology, developed in Fortaleza. It has three products that work independently or together: Fluctus, an AI-powered customer service solution that brings together channels and history; One, for cloud telephony; and SMS + RCS, for sending messages.

What the integration does

Calls (PBX):

• Launches audio billing calls. The ISP registers the audio in the integration, Hubsoft sends the file to Newave's PBX, and uses that audio in calls.
• It also supports dialing options for extensions when the integration does not use audio.
• Follows the billing method rules within the defined hours and adds the configured dialing prefix before the number.
• Click to Call: the agent calls the subscriber from the customer record, and the call goes to their extension.

Messages:

• Sends WhatsApp messages with HSM templates. The integration supports attachments, links, and buttons in the template.
• It also supports the waweb type, another way to send messages through Newave.
• neWave appears in Hubsoft's list of SMS gateways.

Newave is also among the chatbot and PBX platforms that connect through Hubsoft's Official API, which subscribers use to request a duplicate bill, unlock service on a trust basis, and open a support request without speaking to an agent.

What you need

• A contract with Newave. Integration details are provided when you sign up.
• For the PBX: server address, username, password, start and end times, and, if required by the carrier, the dialing prefix.
• Audio files in .mp3 format.
• For WhatsApp: the platform URL and token, or the waweb token.

How to activate

1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuration > Integrations > PBX > Add and select the Newave gateway. Enter the parameters and indicate whether the integration uses audio or Click to Call.
2. Under Actions > Audio, register each audio file with a clear description and upload the file. For extensions, go to Actions > Dialing > Add.
3. In the Billing Method's Call tab, add the rules, then add the call-launch routine under Configuration > General > Routines.
4. For WhatsApp, go to Configuration > Integrations > SMS/Messengers, select the NeWave gateway, enable the HSM key, and enter the parameters.
5. Under Actions > HSM Template, register the templates using the same names as in Newave.

Limitations

• With the waweb type, the HSM template has a fixed format: a specific code and a single parameter containing the entire message text.
• For extension dialing, check the dialing prefix: some calls only connect when it is included.
• An integration with HSM enabled cannot be used for one-off messages or the Subscriber Portal.

Check whether the template is filled out in Hubsoft exactly as it is in Newave and is approved for use on the platform.
