Hubsoft integration with TIP Brasil

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with TIP Brasil for fixed-line telephony (STFC, Zeus platform) and mobile telephony (MVNO). Numbers are activated in the customer’s service, and fixed-line usage becomes an invoice in Hubsoft.

TIP Brasil brings fixed and mobile telephony to the ISP. Through Hubsoft, it registers fixed-number ranges, activates mobile lines under the ISP’s brand, and bills the usage recorded by the Zeus platform.

About TIP Brasil

TIP Brasil offers internet service providers (ISPs) their own fixed-line telephony operation, with number portability, 0800, virtual PBX, and the Zeus operational management platform. It also offers MVNO, allowing the ISP to become a mobile operator with its brand on the SIM card, app, and invoice, as well as services such as AI-powered cameras and TV streaming.

What the integration does

Fixed-line telephony (STFC):

  • Synchronized plans: TIP’s plans are brought into Hubsoft through the integration screen.
  • Number registration by range: the ISP enters the starting and ending numbers, and Hubsoft creates every number in the range. IPs can also be linked to the number.
  • Number management: search by number or customer, filter by status, and perform bulk actions to delete or unlink numbers.
  • Activation for the customer: the agent selects the plan and number in the customer’s service, and Hubsoft sends the registration to TIP.
  • Suspension for nonpayment: when the option to enable and suspend numbers is active, the number follows the customer’s status. Long-distance, collect-call, and mobile-call blocks can be configured.
  • Usage billing: Hubsoft retrieves the month’s amounts from TIP, displays the cost per number, and generates invoices or entries.
  • Telephony invoice: a parameter provides the customer number for issuing the telephony service invoice.

Mobile telephony (MVNO):

  • Line activation: the agent selects the plan and area code, enters the ICCID, and selects the number from the list retrieved from TIP. Portability is requested during activation.
  • Plan, SIM Card, and account holder changes, without deleting the line.
  • Top-up through the number’s actions.
  • Blocking and unblocking when the customer’s service is suspended or enabled in Hubsoft, and cancellation when the number is deleted.

What you need

  • A contract with TIP Brasil.
  • For STFC: the domain and server address provided by TIP.
  • For MVNO: the token, available on TIP’s platform under API > Documentation. Users of 5G registrations must also provide the 5G API address listed in the wiki.
  • To bill lines through Hubsoft, a package linked to each number.

How to activate

  1. For STFC, go to Settings > Integrations > STFC, click Add, and enter the domain and server address.
  2. Under Actions > Plans, synchronize the plans. Under Actions > Numbers, register the numbers or ranges.
  3. In the customer’s service, under Other Options > STFC Data, add the number.
  4. For MVNO, go to Settings > Integrations > MVNO > Add, select TIP, and enter the token.
  5. Synchronize the plans and enable "Service Allows MVNO" under Settings > General > Services / Plans.
  6. In the customer’s service, under Other Options > MVNO Data > Add, activate the line.

The step-by-step guide with screenshots is available in the Hubsoft wiki: STFC with TIP and MVNO with TIP.

Limitations

  • STFC billing uses the amounts recorded by TIP. If an amount is incorrect, TIP must make the correction.
  • For MVNO, portability is requested when the line is activated.

Frequently asked questions

The customer’s telephony amount is incorrect. What should I do?

Hubsoft imports the amounts recorded in TIP. Contact TIP to verify the usage recorded.

Can I register several fixed numbers at once?

Yes. Under Actions > Numbers, enter the starting and ending numbers in the range, and Hubsoft creates every number in the interval.

I use Tá Telecom. Does this integration work for me?

Tá Telecom uses the same API as TIP, and some ISPs configure it through TIP’s gateway. Hubsoft also has a dedicated page for Tá Telecom.
