Hubsoft integration with iez! Telecom

Hubsoft, an ERP for internet service providers (ISPs), integrates with iez! Telecom to activate mobile lines, including eSIM, as part of the customer’s service. Hubsoft tells iez! whether the subscriber is current on payments and suspends the line when a bill is overdue.

iez! Telecom is a 5G mobile operator owned by Greatek that works with ISP partners in MG, ES, and RJ. Through Hubsoft, the provider activates a SIM card or eSIM, suspends service for theft, and reports whether the

About iez! Telecom

iez! Telecom is a mobile phone and 5G internet operator headquartered in São José dos Campos (SP). It is authorized to operate, together with partner providers, in cities across Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, and Rio de Janeiro, under the ISP’s brand identity. iez! is a Greatek company, which has provided telecommunications infrastructure solutions since 1997.

What the integration does

  • Plan synchronization: iez! plans are brought into Hubsoft through the integration screen.
  • Line activation: in the customer’s service, the agent selects the plan, enters the ICCID, and selects the number from the list retrieved from iez!. The registration requires the device model and the SIM Card’s PUK1 and PIN2 codes, which are used to verify the chip on the platform.
  • eSIM: the new line can be activated as an eSIM.
  • Number portability: it is requested during activation, along with the original operator. Hubsoft checks the status every hour until a response is received.
  • Recurring payments: with recurring payments enabled, Hubsoft checks the subscriber’s bills once a day, overnight. If they are current, it reports the payment to iez!. If a payment is overdue, it suspends the line until the bill is paid.
  • Blocking and unblocking: suspending and enabling the service in Hubsoft also sends the request to iez!’s blocking and unblocking queue.
  • Changing the plan, SIM Card, or number: use the number’s actions without deleting the line. When changing the number, you can indicate that the new number is ported.
  • Deactivation due to theft or fraud: when deleting the number, the agent selects the reason. In cases of theft or fraud, the line remains suspended for 30 days and is then re-enabled in Hubsoft and iez!.
  • Existing iez! customer: if the subscriber already has a registration, contract, or line with iez!, the agent enters the codes and Hubsoft uses the existing record. Otherwise, it creates everything on the platform.
  • Package-based billing: the provider can require a package for each number to bill the line through Hubsoft.
  • MVNO report: lists services with iez! lines and transmission errors.

What you need

  • A contract with iez! and API credentials (client_id and client_secret), provided by iez! itself.
  • SIM cards with ICCID, PUK1, and PIN2.
  • Hubsoft plans that will receive lines, marked with the "Service Allows MVNO" option.

How to activate

  1. In Hubsoft, go to Configuration > Integrations > MVNO > Add and select Iez.
  2. Enter the client_id and client_secret. If you want, enable recurring payments and set the default payment method.
  3. Synchronize plans under Actions > Plans > Synchronize.
  4. Under Configuration > General > Services / Plans, check "Service Allows MVNO" for the plans that will have a mobile line.
  5. In the customer’s service, go to Other Options > MVNO Data > Add and enter the plan, ICCID, number, device, PUK1, and PIN2.

The step-by-step guide with screenshots is on the iez! page in the Hubsoft wiki.

Limitations

  • The device list is cached. To update it, use Actions > Clear Cache on the integration screen.
  • The payment-status check runs once a day. A payment made during the day is reported to iez! during the next run.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the registration require PUK and PIN?

iez! uses the SIM Card’s PUK1 and PIN2 to check whether the chip is available. Without them, the line is not activated.

Does a subscriber who is behind on payments lose the line?

With recurring payments enabled, the line is suspended while a bill remains overdue and is restored when the bill is paid.

What happens when the customer’s cell phone is stolen?

When deleting the number, select theft or fraud as the reason. The line remains suspended for 30 days and is then automatically restored.
